Hi there! My name is Ana, and I'm the creator & voice behind our travel brand Monos Viajeros.
I'm an Ecuadorian travel mom currently living in North California with my hubby Luisfe, and our 2 little travelers Nala & Luka.
Before we became parents, we visited amazing places like Iguazú Falls, Barcelona, The Galápagos Islands, The Grand Canyon and Monument Valley; and just a few weeks before our fully planned 19-day Southeast Asia trip, we found out someone -inside mama's belly- wanted to join our trip.

I even melancholically planned a Mexico baby moon, but man, little did I know that the birth of Nala would redirect our lives COMPLETELY! and would create more travel for us than ever before. At 3 months Nala took her first flight to Ecuador, she celebrated the 1st year in New York, at 16 months she came with us on our 2nd Eurotrip and visited places like Krka National Park in Croacia, Istanbul in Turkey and Athens in Greece.
Traveling with her made me realize first - how crazy I was to think that I could just remove travel from our lives - but also, how meaningful traveling as a family was for us. How much we connected, how much happier we were, how much Nala learned and how intensely we wanted to keep doing it.
Which empowered me to create MONOS VIAJEROS.
A platform to inspire, guide and help other families have adventures, even after having kids, learn how to create unique travel experiences and use all the benefits of travel to feel better, be happier, and make each day count.

They know all the benefits travel can bring to their families because they’ve experienced it before. Spending time with locals, discovering a place by foot and kayaking to watch the sunset is their kind of trip.
My kinda mama knows that her kids will be little for a very short time, but she is always committed to putting herself first. She knows that the more aligned AND ALIVE she feels, the more she can pour into others, so she plans to live her life intensely, having adventures, traveling and embracing every magical part of her.

I travel for the first time back to Ecuador. We spend 24 days together. We travel inside Ecuador.
2012
first international trip together
I visit Ecuador for 21 days. We decide to make our very first international trip to Foz de Iguazú and Buenos Aires.
2013
luis comes to la
Luisfe travels to LA for the first time. We travel for 10 days in California.
2014
end of our long distance relationship
Luisfe leaves everything in Ecuador and moves to LA with me after spending 5 amazing days in the Galápagos Islands.
We get married.

first eurotrip
We do an 18-day Eurotrip and we visit Paris, Brussels, Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia and Rome.
2016
our world starts
to change
Weeks before traveling to Southeast Asia. we find out I'm pregnant.
We travel with an 8-week baby bump to Hanoi, Siem Reap, Kuala Lumpur, Phuket, Chiang Mai and Bangkok.
2017
welcome baby nala
We think our travels are over. Nala is born and after 3 months we take her to Ecuador. Monos Viajeros IG is born.
2018
let the travels begin
We celebrate Nala's 1st Bday in NY. We do our Eurotrip # 2 and visit Paris, Split, Dubrovnik, Athens, Mykonos, Santorini and Istanbul.
We launch our Monos Viajeros Blog.
2019
wait what?
We make 12 trips in the middle of a pandemic. We quit our high-paying jobs and move from LA to Newman looking for more freedom. We find out baby # 2 is on the way.
2020
welcome baby luka
Baby Luka is born. I become a certified travel coach. Working on our plan to become digital nomads.
2021
we did it!!!
We take our biggest leap yet!!! We book a one-way ticket to Ecuador and spend 315 days traveling with our kids!!! We spend 5 months in Ecuador, 3 in Brazil, 1 month in Spain and we set foot in Africa for the very first time, spending 1 full month in Morocco.
2022
we become 5!!
After coming home, I take on content creation in full force and make more than $29k in my first year as a UGC Creator! Magic re-enters our lives as we welcome Baby Luna into our world.
